JOB TITLE: Senior Architect-Information Technology
LOCATION: Irving, TX
DUTIES: Work with business stakeholder and team to represent testing for the overall Fuels back-office products. Define test strategy and architecture requirements for Microservices based event driven applications. Design, develop, test, and maintain test automation frameworks for both backend APIs and Angular/REACT frontend applications. Design and implement test plans, procedures, scenarios, and scripts to accurately assess new product features according to customer requirements. Identify and effectively communicate with engineers, tech leads and team members on issues identified during testing, and clearly articulate the problem(s) and solution(s). Complete code reviews, test automation and QA documentation. Document and mentor QA engineers in the use of the testing framework and QA processes and procedures. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to accurate estimates for testing activities. Responsible for automation framework development using Java, TestNG, REST Assured and Behavior Driven Development (BDD). Work with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Core Java, Spring Boot, Selenium, Selenium Web Driver, Web Services, Agile, and DevOps. Provide incident and problem management, supporting microservices environment and monitoring tools such as New Relic and Grafana. Perform automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing as well as performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner and Storm Runner. Use Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, Elastic Search and MongoDB, Azure Cloud Services including AKS and Azure Storage, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a QA Lead, QA Architect, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 5 years of experience with the following: Automation framework development, Java, TestNG, REST Assured, BDD, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Core Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, Elastic Search, MongoDB, Azure Cloud Services, including AKS and Azure Storage, and performance testing tools including JMeter, LoadRunner and Storm Runner. 5 years of experience with incident and problem management supporting microservices environment. 5 years of experience using monitoring tools using New Relic and Grafana, and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, the employer will accept an additional 2 years of experience in the above skill set.
