Our main Engineering challenges at Teads

  • Build efficient and easy-to-use web products used by thousands of users working for the world's most premium publishers, advertisers, and agencies.
  • Rich and diverse tech stack and system architecture to optimize for performance, scalability, resiliency, and cost efficiency.
  • Working in a very high-traffic environment (2.2 billion users per month, 100 billion events per day) with low latency and high availability constraints (2 million requests per second, responses in less than 150 milliseconds).
  • Management of large datasets with milliseconds order of magnitude access time, to compute in a near real-time complex auction resolution algorithm (18 million predictions per second).
  • A fast-changing environment where we continuously collaborate with Product teams and constantly adapt our infrastructure for new features and Products.
  • Bring a wide diversity of profiles to the same level of quality and knowledge
  • Work in an international environment with offices located in Israel, Slovenia and France.

Our Data Solutions Pod

Our Data Solutions Pod is responsible for harnessing all signals from our direct publishers to provide customers with actionable insights into their audience behavior, effective targeting solutions to reach them efficiently, and measurement tools to demonstrate campaign results. All these solutions are built upon our privacy-compliant identity framework.

Working within a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, data analysts, software engineers, and data engineers—collaborating closely with product management—we are seeking data engineers to help develop and scale our high-performance data pipelines while ensuring a modular and maintainable data modeling approach.

What will you do?

As a Senior Data Engineer, your mission will be to:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and services using tools such as DBT and Spark.
  • Autonomously create, test, deploy, and monitor production code with a strong focus on reliability and performance.
  • Work with the Engineering Manager and the product managers to frame projects and be accountable for their execution.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business needs to design relevant, impactful data solutions for our clients.
  • Architect simple yet flexible data models that support complex analytical use cases.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration both within Teads and with external stakeholders.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions that could enhance our infrastructure and processes.

What will you bring to the team?

  • Good programming abilities. Testing your code is second nature to you. You are very mindful of your application’s architecture, performance, maintainability, and overall quality.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. You are an active listener and a dialogue facilitator, you know how to explain your decision and like sharing your knowledge.
  • Data engineering mind set with the capability to design , implement and optimize data engineering solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills with analytical capabilities in order to critically analyze existing or proposed solutions.
