Sheet Metal Assembler

Pay: $24-32/hr, depending on experience.

Shift: 6:00AM - 4:30PM (Monday-Thursday) OT on Fridays

Location: Everett, WA

Job Description

As a Sheet Metal Assembler, you will efficiently and accurately assemble components and materials according to plans and specifications. You must be adept at following written and verbal instructions, understanding drawings, and adhering to work instructions. Your role involves working with metal cladding, insulation, and steel components, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble structural metal building panels in a manufacturing setting.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Accurately use measuring devices including squares and tape measures.
• Participate in safe material handling and suspended load movements.
• Follow instructions and execute assigned duties effectively.
• Complete tasks within set timeframes to ensure goals are met.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication, assembly, and installation.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Experience with tape measure use down to 1/16th inch.
• High school diploma, general education degree, or vocational degree.
• 2+ years of experience in siding, roofing, metalworking, or assembly.
• Skillful operation of non-specialized shop equipment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
