Inviting applications for the role of Process Associate/ Process Developer, Insurance UW!
In this role, you will be responsible for constantly monitoring centralized mailbox and work upon incoming submission emails request using FIFO method
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly review submission requests to identify / validate submission vs referral. Record and refer those that are outside the guidelines to the underwriting department for approval.
- Register only new business submission directed to underwriter/designated mailbox. & update all relevant information in the system.
- Ensure that turnaround time and quality of documents meets Company service standards
- Once the registration is completed, submission is released to designated Underwriter.
- Manage and maintain records including correspondence and data files
- Provide customer service to underwriters, operations staff across the country(s) and other functions within Tango. Contact internal resources to research and resolve issues
- Take ownership for work-in-progress issues as an individual and team member by continuously looking for ways to improve/streamline work and procedures which increase the efficiency of the team. Manage own work in process and support team efforts to ensure that individual, team goals are met.
- Queue Management – Effectively monitor and manage queue in absence of team leads.
- Perform quality audits & sharing RCA on escalations received.
- Monitors, analyses and report on trends in the key underwriting performance drivers.
- Client Facing Role - Leading weekly discussions on operations with Canada stakeholders

Minimum qualifications
- Graduate / Postgraduate – Any with good problem solving skills
- Ability to accurately interpret and compile information from a variety of sources and systems
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment exercising good judgment
- Ability to meet outlined and expected standards of timeliness and accuracy in completion of work
- High level attention to detail and accuracy with high customer service orientation.
- Good Communication & written English skills
- MS Excel Skills – Intermediate
- MS Word- Intermediate
Preferred qualifications
- Good interpersonal skills with full understanding of US/Canadian insurance dynamics
- React proactively, positively, patiently and effectively for seeking clarifications, have a customer centric approach in problem solving.
- Excellent processing skills and a positive, ‘can do” attitude.
