About the role

We’re seeking a technically skilled and quality-focused State Project Manager to oversee residential solar and battery installations across South Australia. This role is pivotal in ensuring contractor performance, compliance with Australian Standards, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess installation reports for compliance and quality assurance.
  • Monitor and support customer-reported faults across solar, battery, and related systems.
  • Conduct site audits and support remediation efforts.
  • Manage defect tracking and corrective actions with contractors.
  • Assist with pricing and acceptance of installation variations.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and support for installations.
  • Support onboarding, workflow management, and invoice approvals.
  • Develop and maintain regular reporting.
  • Represent AGL in state-based regulatory and technical forums as required.

About You:

  • A valid driver’s licence and A Grade Electrician licence.
  • SAA accreditation for grid-connected solar systems (battery storage experience highly desirable).
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000, 4777, 5033).
  • Experience in residential/commercial solar PV, battery storage, or EV charging.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and workflow management platforms.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to safety and quality.
