Job Description

Location: Remote

Title: Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to help support development against our cookie consent systems & pipeline for clients web platform. You will contribute to the full development cycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch. You will be responsible for managing your task list pipeline as well as communicating your progress throughout the task life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be aiding the development, maintenance, and support of our platform's frontend cookie consent features.

  • Work with the team to develop, maintain and support assigned features of the frontend
  • Collaborate with the team on future features and possible visual designs
  • Maintain strong communication on progress as well as on question/concerns you foresee
  • Manage designated tasks assigned on Jira
  • Full pipeline and requirements on API interface between FE and BE will be provided, but it is expected that you will contribute heavily to design of FE implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of software engineering experience, primarily focusing on developing user-facing web applications at scale using TypeScript
  • Knowledge of GraphQL and HTTP basics
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver projects on schedule
  • Self-directed and thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with remote teams and communicate complex technical topics to diverse audiences

Plus:

  • Backend experience (service development, databases, Kubernetes) and the ability to design maintainable APIs is a plus
  • Experience developing or implementing consent-based frameworks (e.g., cookie consent banners, IAB TCF, Global Privacy Control, etc.) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as GDPR, CCPA, ePrivacy Directive is a plus.
