You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in software development using Java and the Spring Boot framework
• 3+ years of experience with scripting languages, such as Python, for automation, data processing, or backend development
• 3+ years of experience with container technologies such as Docker
• Experience building and maintaining scalable microservices and RESTful APIs
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern DevOps toolchains
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Ability to design and implement solutions to complex problems in a collaborative, Agile environment
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering field and 5+ years of experience with software engineering, or 9+ years of experience with software engineering in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with JHipster for rapid application development and scaffolding
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React and integrating with back-end services
• Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS
• Experience using automated testing frameworks and maintaining testable codebases
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
