The Restaurant Stocker plays a vital role in keeping the restaurant running smoothly by ensuring that all supplies and ingredients are properly stocked and organized:
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and organize food, beverages, and supplies in storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers.
- Stock Rotation: Monitor expiration dates and rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) methods to minimize waste.
- Supply Replenishment: Restock kitchen and service stations with necessary items like condiments, napkins, utensils, and dishware.
- Delivery Assistance: Help unload deliveries and verify that shipments match invoices.
- Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain cleanliness and order in storage areas, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing shelves.
- Team Support: Assist kitchen and front-of-house staff by retrieving items quickly during busy service periods.
- Service: Provide our legendary Family Style Service
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift 40–60 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Basic math and recordkeeping abilities
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food Handler Safety Card required.
