JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Mass Communications, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Certification or Licensure: Desired HubSpot Social Media Marketing Certification
Skills: Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite. Extensive experience creating content, monitoring, and moderating social media sites for an organization or brand. Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices of graphic design and content creation. Extensive knowledge of business English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and mathematical computation. Ability to anticipate work to be completed and complete work without the need for direct supervision. Ability to demonstrate proper maintenance, safe operation, and utilization of equipment, materials, and supplies used in daily activities.
Work Experience: At least one year of experience posting branded content for a company or organization.
PRIMARY DUTY:
This position is responsible for monitoring, moderating, producing, and scheduling content for the Richmond County School System’s social media sites, adding and updating content, and creating new pages and websites.
