About the role:

Senior Group Sales Manager manages and develops group sales strategies, builds strong client relationships, represents brand values and leads a high-performing group sales team. You will work closely with sales, marketing, operations, finance and other departments to maximize revenue from group bookings and corporate partnerships.

What you will do:

  • Being assigned to an area / market and responsible for effective promotion, solicitation, and prospecting though Sales Call, Sales Trips, Site Inspection, Entertainment, FAM Trips and other pro-active sales means. Travel within the market is required.
  • Actively solicit new business and respond to inquiries with the intention of confirming profitable rooms and catering business to impact RevPAR performance
  • Create and execute account plans for assigned market territory to ensure maximum group revenue and budgeted group targets are achieved
  • Coordinate the sales efforts between sales department and catering to ensure proper utilization of function space to yield maximum revenues
  • Set key performance indicators for the team, monitor and coach performance accordingly

What you bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior sales role within luxury hospitality, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • A highly motivated individual and great team player
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify market trends and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Highly organized, results-driven, and adaptable to the evolving needs of the business.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to key markets as needed.
