Express Employment Professionals of Longview are currently seeking CNC Machinist for a manufacturing company in Longview.

Responsibilities:

As a CNC Programmer/Machinist, you will be a vital part of our manufacturing team, utilizing your expertise in CNC programming, machining, and precision measuring instruments. Your proficiency in using micrometers and calipers, along with operating CNC lathes and mills, will be essential in producing high quality machined parts. With a focus on attention to detail and accuracy, your role will involve interpreting blueprints and ensuring the proper setup and operation of CNC equipment. Your knowledge of MasterCam will further enhance your ability to program CNC machines effectively.

Required Qualifications:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision parts according to specifications
• Use micrometers and calipers to measure and inspect finished components for accuracy.
• Program CNC machines based on job requirements and ensure proper tooling is in place.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines while working with CNC equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize machining processes and meet production goals.
• The starting pay is $19-28/hr. Depending on experience and programming.
• The hours are Monday through Friday 6am-2:30pm.
