Forklift Operator
3rd Shift
11:00pm-7:30am EST
Wage: $21/hr.
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our client's warehouse team in Reynolds, IN. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move products, equipment, and materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring the accurate loading and unloading of trucks, and maintaining inventory. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and focus on quality will play a crucial part in helping us meet production and safety goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials and equipment
- Accurately load and unload trucks, stacking and tiering products as needed
- Maintain equipment in safe working order and perform routine recharging or refueling
- Monitor inventory levels and supply materials to workers
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and document management
- Actively participate in safety training and quality control processes
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License and certification to operate power equipment
- Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes
- Ability to read, interpret, and respond to common production documents
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs. and work in a dynamic, noisy environment
Work Environment:
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and outdoor conditions
- Safety-focused, with protective gear provided
