Job Summary

The Distribution and Price Verification Analyst delivers brand specific service to ensure restaurant orders for food, beverages and small wares are fulfilled accurately and delivered in a timely manner. The Distribution and Price Verification Analyst will oversee Distributor DC inventory levels, resolve delivery issues while working collaboratively with Distributors to identify and rectify discrepancies including late deliveries, incorrect items, or damaged goods, provide swift solutions to prevent disruptions in restaurant operations, and track Distributor performance metrics.

Your Key Job Functions

  • Resolve day-to-day distribution service issues and problems. This will require the ability to work after normal business hours (weekends/holidays).
  • Monitor and review Distributor inventory levels in order to proactively identify potential inventory gaps and risks
  • Facilitate weekly calls with Distribution team to discuss inventory, vendor and product receiving issues
  • Maintain report of all issues and resolutions. Review standardized reports to identify systemic issues and trends. Follow best demonstrated practices (BDP’s) to eliminate future occurrences.
  • Collect, consolidate and create monthly distribution performance scorecards (Service Reports).
  • Publish quarterly Service Report to Sr. Leadership and Distribution companies.
  • Receive monthly distribution order guides and save to S drive for Supply Chain team use and send to item costing.
  • Maintain distribution register for reporting of vendors, restaurants and operations leadership.
  • Maintain database of Distributor Policy & Procedures Manuals that identify key personnel, ordering, delivery and receiving procedures, order/delivery adjustments, delivery schedules, and credit/return procedures.
  • Coordinate the new restaurant opening process to include distributor set up for deliveries and other requirements to ensure new brand openings are supported.
  • Assist with distribution transitions for all franchisees and company operations.
  • Conduct distribution satisfaction surveys and publish applicable reports as requested by Sr. Manager of Distribution. Use data to identify systemic service concerns.
  • Ensure the Brinker contracted pricing published in the Brinker Monthly price list is accurately reflected in the distributor’s charges to corporate and franchise restaurants.
  • Review reports generated by Brinker’s 3rd party e-commerce partner monthly, communicating discrepancies to distribution partners and negotiating all recoveries.
  • Work with key stakeholders on pricing issues and resolve discrepancies with the distributors.
  • Create and publish quarterly reports to track Distributor price variance recoveries to be used in solving systemic pricing issues with distribution partners.
  • Monitors internal communications and tracks for use in verifying monthly pricing discrepancies.
  • Identify current gaps and future opportunities tracking recoveries, utilizing the price verification program.
  • Development of new reports and provide data maintenance and system enhancements as needed.

What You Bring to the Team

  • 5+ year’s distribution experience in a restaurant or related industry
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent skills and training
  • Extensive experience in technical knowledge of product procurement and distribution including agreements, distributor requirements, warehousing, including, but not limited to freight
  • Proficiency interfacing between vendor/customer and supply chain.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communications with internal and external customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office technologies, including but not limited to, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with 3rd party supplier platforms
  • Experience with analyze and interpret data and negotiate distributor overpayment recoveries independently
  • Ability to prioritize work, multiple tasks with various deadlines simultaneously.
  • Having a “self-starter” attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work under pressure
  • Experience with supply chain budgeting and cost control functions, with ability to perform fundamental budgeting/cost control processes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
