R&D Data Management - Remote (m/f/d) limited to 9 months

Your tasks and responsibilities

• You will enable digital platforms on technical and operational levels as foundation for data integration and curation
• You will identify and evaluate new tools and technologies in the field of ontology usage, generation and management
• You will manage the implementation of reference data technologies such as TopBraid and similar tools
• You will carry out project management of cross-functional projects in data integration
• You will collaborate with and instruct internal and external partners
• You will provide understanding, conceptualization, and requirement analysis for data management in various R&D-wide projects
• You will offer data standard consulting, development and application for R&D relevant data domains, e.g., experimental or study data, in close alignment with functional data scientists and stewards
• You will implement and apply data models, curation and integration activities within R&D projects
• You will be responsible for a cross-functional alignment of data-centric needs and capabilities, ensuring efficient and effective data usage

Who you are

• You have completed a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics or Informatics
• You have some years of professional experience in Life science R&D or information technology
• You bring advanced analytical programming skills, e.g., R, python, experience in data curation and data integration and strong Project management skills
• You bring good knowledge in the field of application of FAIR data principles
• Your mindset is strongly collaborative and innovative
• Your Conceptual, Critical and Pragmatic thinking and your ability to translate across business and technology are part of your professional personality
• You possess a deep understanding of life science R&D processes
• You are an experienced leader in cross-functional projects
• You demonstrate a high degree of reliability, upholding confidentiality, flexibility in engagement while managing ambiguity and are able to work under pressure
• You are very good with communication, presentation and organizational skillsExcellent English language skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile
