Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Summary

As a Senior Architect you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust data architecture solutions. You will leverage your expertise in data governance cloud data warehousing and data modeling to drive strategic initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams you will ensure data security and compliance while optimizing data integration and access across Azure and AWS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architecture solutions to support business objectives.
• Oversee data governance and compliance initiatives to ensure data integrity and security.
• Provide expertise in cloud data warehousing utilizing Azure and AWS services to optimize data storage and retrieval.
• Develop comprehensive data models that align with business needs and enhance data accessibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data visualization tools for insightful reporting.
• Ensure data security protocols are in place to protect sensitive information and maintain compliance.
• Drive data integration and access strategies to streamline data flow across the organization.
• Utilize Spark to enhance data processing capabilities and improve performance.
• Guide the development of data access frameworks to support efficient data retrieval.
• Monitor and optimize data architecture to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Support the implementation of data governance frameworks to maintain data quality.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote data literacy across teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance data architecture and drive innovation.

Qualifications

•  Possess a strong background in data governance and compliance with a focus on maintaining data integrity.
• Demonstrate expertise in cloud data warehousing particularly with Azure and AWS services.
• Exhibit proficiency in data modeling techniques to support business objectives.
• Have experience in data visualization tools to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Show a deep understanding of data security protocols to protect sensitive information.
• Be skilled in data integration and access strategies to streamline data flow.
• Have experience with Spark to enhance data processing capabilities.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is ($130,000- 155,000) depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
