Our facility in Manila, Philippines has been operating since 1996 with key functions in Design and Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and other disciplines. This site specializes in product design, process development and mass production of Photodiodes, Photodiode Arrays and High-Performance Sensors. These product technologies are primarily for LiDAR applications such as autonomous vehicles and range finding, as well as safety and security applications including smoke detection and luggage scanning.
We are presently seeking for Master Data Management - Data Governance Analyst who shall play a critical role in managing and enhancing enterprise-wide data standards. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of master data across various SAP modules. The Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce data governance policies, perform regular data quality assessments, and drive data stewardship initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
Data Governance:
- Manage the creation, maintenance, and retirement of master data records across SAP modules, including Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance master data domains.
- Ensure data consistency across systems in alignment with established governance frameworks.
- Develop, document, and enforce data governance policies and procedures to meet business needs and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR compliance).
Data Quality Management:
- Enforce enterprise-wide data quality standards; perform data cleansing and enrichment activities across complex datasets integrating from multiple internal and external sources.
- Monitor and ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of master data.
- Develop and track data quality metrics and KPIs to continuously measure and improve data health.
- Utilize SAP MDG tools such as Data Replication Framework (DRF), Mass Processing, and Fiori apps where applicable.
Training and Support:
- Provide ongoing training, guidance, and support to end-users on MDM/MDG processes, best practices, and tools.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of data management processes and workflows for internal training and reference.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for master data–related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing resolution support.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
- Lead and participate in cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing master data management processes and related SAP system enhancements.
- Partner with business units, and data stewards to understand evolving data needs and proactively address issues.
- Identify, recommend, and implement continuous improvements to master data processes, policies, and systems.
System Support:
- Monitor and resolve SAP Applications Interface Framework (AIF) errors related to master data replication.
- Analyze root causes of system data errors and recommend process enhancements to increase efficiency, data accuracy, and system performance.
- Support testing activities related to SAP MDG system upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree holder
- Must have 2-3 years of relevant experience and a strong commitment to data accuracy and excellence.
- Strong knowledge of SAP MDM (Finance, Customer, Vendor, Material Master) with a commitment to data accuracy and excellence.
- Exposure to SAP modules from an accounting/finance perspective (SD, MM, PP, FICO).
- Proven experience managing master data in multi-instance landscapes for global organizations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify data trends, anomalies, and resolve complex data issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and effectively conveying data governance concepts.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple data governance initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to prioritize competing demands and exceed expectations.
- Flexible to work in shifts.
- Solid documentation skills for maintaining data management processes and procedures.
- Proficiency with tools such as SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Empower, SharePoint, Salesforce, and Freshservice.
