The Opportunity:
FOUR DAY WORK WEEKS 2pm – 12:30am Tuesday - Friday
THREE DAY WEEKENDS!
We’re currently seeking a Sanitor – 2nd Shift to join our Manufacturing team. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, walls, floors, and tables within our production departments. The Sanitor works independently near heavy machinery, in tight and high spaces, and with strong cleaning chemicals. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who values quality, safety, and attention to detail—and wants to be part of a team that supports health and wellness from the ground up.
What You’ll Do:
Sanitation & Cleaning
- Clean and sanitize plant equipment, production areas, and surfaces in a thorough and safe manner
- Operate cleaning systems and equipment as trained and specified
- Use foamers, floor scrubbers, and basic hand tools for sanitation
- Ensure chemicals are properly labeled, used, and stored according to safety guidelines
- Clean up bodily fluids in accordance with the Bloodborne Pathogens Policy
Procedures & Standards Compliance
- Complete all Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) tasks according to SOPs
- Follow company procedures for chemical supplies and power equipment use
- Assist in developing and improving sanitation standard operating procedures
- Continuously monitor the sanitation status of production areas and equipment
- Notify management of any potential hazards
Cross-Functional Support
- Operate machinery as needed to support production
- Perform cross-functional tasks based on availability of resources
- Execute duties in alignment with company Quality and Safety standards
What You Bring:
Education & Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience
- 0–1 years of experience required
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience in a food processing environment preferred
- Experience in industrial sanitation operations preferred
Specialized Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic sanitation methods and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Familiarity with basic hand tools
- Ability to perform basic math, especially for chemical dilution calculations
