Job Title: Structural Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Technician to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, MN. You will work on diverse projects including new commercial buildings in healthcare, education, multi-family, hospitality, industrial, and office sectors, as well as renovation projects and analysis of existing structures. Your role will involve structural drafting and modeling for structural engineers, developing renderings, and assisting in site visits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the production of construction documents.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff.
• Engage in structural drafting and modeling for structural engineers.
• Develop renderings for various projects.
• Assist in site visits to ensure project accuracy and compliance.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Strong skills in structural design and structural drawing.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• An Associate's degree in CAD drafting is preferred.
• Experience with structural modeling in Navisworks and BIM 360 is a plus.
• Knowledge in concrete and steel design.

Work Environment

The role is based in our Minneapolis office, where you will collaborate with a local team. The first interview will be conducted virtually, followed by an in-office meeting with the team. The work environment is collaborative, focusing on innovation and precision in structural design.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
