Actalent is hiring for a mechanical engineering technician responsible for the updating and commissioning of tooling equipment. This role would be focused on tooling equipment for an automotive manufacturing company.

Candidate would be responsible for the quality and commissioning of tooling equipment

Role:

• Check and test machines
• Support the disassemble or decommissioning of old machines
• Determine ordered parts required.
• Assist manufacturing team in other projects as needed
• Complete any other tasks assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Skills:

• Understanding and ability to read a print/drawing
• Good knowledge, understanding, and use of basic hand tools
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Works well with little supervision
• Flexibility to work daily overtime (including weekends)
• Basic computer skills
• Basic inspection skills
• CMM experience (Calypso – Zeiss)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft products

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
