SAIC is seeking an experienced Lead Technical Instructional Systems Designer (TISD) to support an innovative training program for the Customer’s main technical training office. The candidate will serve as the main POC for SAIC PM and customer. The candidate will also coordinate and support the execution of the customer's curriculum life cycle, particularly within the course identification, development, and maintenance phases. Supports the customer by coordinating task assignments and assessing progress and fulfilling duties as ISD. The position is located in Chantilly, VA.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree (four years of relevant experience may substitute in lieu of a degree) and (15) years or more of related experience. Masters and (13) years or more experience; PhD or JD and (10) years or more experience.
  • An Instructional Design Certificate from an accredited institution or a degree in an education field.
  • 5 years of adult learning experience in any of the following instructional design, instructional technology, or experiential learning.
  • 2 years of experience with the customer working in a technical mission area and/or designing technical course content.
  • 1 year experience leading instructional design projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with instructional design, instructional technology, or experiential learning.
  • Demonstrated experience creating instructional content for adult learners supporting a broad range of training modalities (synchronous, asynchronous, instructor led, web-based learning, virtual training and/or blended learning).

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Science, Engineering, or Education.
  • Experience teaching technical content in an adult learning environment.
  • Experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor with demonstrated track record of supporting multiple simultaneous projects with aggressive timeline.
