Job Title: Quality Control Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Manager to join our team for a challenging and rewarding project. The role involves overseeing a USACE $30 million federal project, focusing on heavy HVAC systems. The project is in the middle to closing stages and primarily involves interior work with some ground-up experience. Candidates must be willing to travel or relocate as needed, with the project expected to continue through Spring 2026.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the quality control processes for the USACE federal project.
• Ensure compliance with federal construction standards and regulations.
• Coordinate and supervise HVAC quality and controls.
• Collaborate with the mechanical QC on site.
• Maintain project documentation using RMS software.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams.

Essential Skills

• 7-10+ years of experience as a Federal General Contractor Quality Control Manager.
• 3+ years of GC Construction USACE or NAVFAC experience as a Project Manager/Quality Control Manager.
• Proficiency in HVAC quality and controls.
• Experience with RMS software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience in government and federal construction projects.
• Ability to work on a military base.
• Strong understanding of construction and quality control management principles.

Work Environment

The project is located at Volar in Savannah and requires work on a military base. Candidates may need to travel or relocate as necessary, with per diem provided for relocation. The role demands adherence to a structured environment, ensuring compliance with military and federal construction standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $62.00/hr.
