The Role Incumbent plays a critical role in terms of providing supports to Manager of EV & Regional Reporting. The role holder involves in the preparation of financial results for EV, as well as participating in the company’s Financial Planning process and ad hoc EV related projects.

Key Accountabilities :

1. Ensure quality and timeliness of submission of EV reports to meet Prudential Corporation Asia (HK) and Group Head Office (UK) requirements. Able to explain the result supported with insightful analysis.

2. Assist in financial projection for the company business planning, with guidance from supervisor.

3. Carry out any ad-hoc projects as assigned by the supervisor.

4. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure accurate and timely data collection and analysis

Qualification and experience :

  • Degree and/or Professional Qualification in Actuarial Sciences.
  • 2 years++ related working experience in the Actuarial field in Takaful or Insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of Takaful model and products and the local regulatory framework will be an advantage.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficiency in actuarial software (ideally Prophet) and Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel)
  • Able to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Driven by high desire to acquire knowledge and to deliver results.
