The Role

Reporting to the Professional Services organization, the Senior Customer Enablement Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and training for AspenTech SSE’s Interpretation and processing product suites at a major customer site. This role is based in Rio de Janeiro.

You must have a solid practical technical background using or supporting processing and interpretation programs, preferably on SeisEarth, ES360, Echos, GeoDepth or similar platforms for Exploration, Development, and Production activities in various geophysics settings.

You should be able to communicate your passion for great technology and interact efficiently with the Interpretation Technical Operations Team based in South America.

Your Impact

  • Provide loyalty-inspiring customer service that drives user engagement and sustains product usage.
  • Troubleshoot & resolve complex technical and/or engineering related problems reported by customers using AspenTech’ s proprietary software.
  • Responsible for the escalation of customer issues and driving the resolution cross-functionally within AspenTech.
  • Deliver high-quality training classes or workshops, based on the relevant principles of geosciences and upstream workflows, to AspenTech customers.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, building an understanding of their business needs and challenges.
  • Analyze customer environment and user base to understand how to drive additional engagement and expand footprint within domain.
  • Maintain up-to-date the heatmap of accounts.
  • Proactive collaboration with other AspenTech functions to maintain and develop opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to our R&D and Product Management groups to contribute to our ongoing development and evolution of the industry’s best geoscience solution.
  • Complete & submit Consultant Activity Reports, after each project on a timely basis.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Geophysics, Physics, Mathematics, Ms plus and 3-7 years of experience.
  • Experience working at an international or national company in the energy sector using Quantitative Interpretation, and processing applications preferably SeisEarth, ES360, Echos, GeoDepth with involvement in customers’ projects and activities from exploration to production, in particular:
  • Knowledge in Brazilian geology, structural and sedimentology areas, and projects will be considered.
  • Experience in solving technical challenges related to various geological settings: onshore/offshore, carbonates/clastic, salt, basin/reservoir scales.
  • Understanding and analyzing customer interpretation patterns and processes to determine workflow needs, identify technical challenges, and uncover new opportunities.
  • Strong geological analytical problem solving
  • Experience in support services companies that work for main customers in Brazil would be advantageous
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner utilizing strong written and verbal communication skills. English required.
  • Ability to identify opportunities that create value for customers with a strong customer first mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and competing priorities.
