PRINCIPRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position is designed to be an Advanced Level Machine Operator able to master the operations of several pieces of machinery
- Will function as a back-up operator to assist in coverage for absenteeism and vacation coverage
- Must assist other operators in troubleshooting mechanical and operational issues
- Break and Lunch schedules will be flexible to daily department needs
- Work with Leadership team to identify operational opportunities for improvement and help drive positive change in the department and company.
- Flexibility with assignments and operations is critical
- Must be able to understand instructions whether they are written or verbal, and follow said instructions.
- Complete work with accuracy and efficiency.
- Inspect and audit product processes on incoming product, internal process, product audits and finished product audits
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and work in a safe manner and as part of a team.
- Communicate verbally clearly and concisely.
- Good problem solving skills
- Locate, scan, obtain, and stack components in a quality conscious manner to protect from damage.
- Locate items listed on paperwork to count quantity
- Operate pallet jacks safely and effectively
- Must be willing to perform any other tasks required for the success of the department
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, perform moderate to heavy repetitive lifting, and stand on feet at least nine hours per day.
- It is an essential function of this position that you report to work on a regular basis.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Two years of production experience or similar in carpentry or fast paced, detail-oriented environment is preferred.
- Three to Five years of work experience.
- Knowledge and application of safe work practices.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure & calipers.
- Ability to read and understand product blue prints and technical drawings
- Math & computer skills.
- Possess a thorough understanding of all Cabinetworks Group wood character, machining, assembly and finishing
- Distinguish among colors and different species.
- Possess basic Microsoft Office and computer capabilities including Excel, Word and LINCs
- Possess a basic knowledge the QMS to promote awareness and use by coworkers.
- Read a tape measure and caliper.
- Ability to read/write/communicate in English.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Self starter who works effectively without close supervision.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
- May be required to frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Hand dexterity and strength
- Overtime is required, including weekends with little or no advance notice
- May be required to work a flexible schedule
- It is an essential function of this position to report to work on a regular basis, regular attendance violations will result in removal from this role
