GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The WMS Solutions Architect leads the design, implementation, and optimization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with a strong focus on Datex Footprint and Softeon platforms. This role is instrumental in aligning WMS capabilities with business goals, ensuring scalable, efficient, and innovative warehouse operations
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Design and architect end-to-end WMS solutions tailored to business needs using Datex Footprint and Softeon.
- Lead WMS implementation projects including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, IT, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless integration with ERP, TMS, and other systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution blueprints, and integration specifications.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on WMS best practices, process improvements, and system enhancements.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide long-term solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer to internal teams and end-users.
- Stay current with WMS trends, technologies, and industry standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience in WMS architecture and implementation.
- Proven experience with Datex Footprint WMS and Softeon WMS platforms.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain processes.
- Experience with system integration (e.g., APIs, EDI, middleware).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSES
Professional certification may be required in some areas.
