Job Title: Welder

Job Description

We are seeking skilled MIG Welders to support the production of Class A and Class C Motor Coaches at our Decatur, Indiana facility. These roles are essential to the lamination department, focusing on welding key structural components such as side wall frames, slide-out frames, and chassis parts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on 90% aluminum and 10% steel.
  • Work from A-frame jigs to assemble and weld RV wall structures.
  • Collaborate in teams of 2–3 to complete 4–5 frames per shift.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 year of MIG welding experience, including horizontal and vertical down welds.
  • Experience with welding steel and/or aluminum.
  • Ability to set own temperatures, especially for aluminum welding.
  • Capability to lift up to 35 pounds and climb up to 5 feet.
  • Possession of own welding hood.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Welding certifications are a plus.

Work Environment

This is a non-temperature controlled environment where conditions can vary from hot to cold. The schedule is Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential for additional hours on Fridays (expect 45–50 hours/week).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
