As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in fabricating parts by reading blueprints and instructions, setting up CNC machines according to work instructions, and utilizing both manual and automated equipment to safely manufacture parts. You will plan the sequence of necessary actions for job completion, monitor machines to adjust feeds, maintain quality, and identify issues. Additionally, you will measure and check parts for quality and correctness, select appropriate machines, position and load materials for jobs, and ensure that fabrications are completed in the safest and most efficient manner. You will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas, reviewing samples, drawings, and instructions to understand output specifications, and communicating any issues to your supervisor. Maintaining inventory counts and performing other tasks as requested by your supervisor are also part of your duties.
