As part of this transformation, business relations is undertaking a large finance modernization project, with a goal to modernize our processes and technology.

Joining our ERP modernization project team, you will work across the core financial, procurement, project, performance and risk management modules.

This will be a dynamic, exciting environment, offering you the chance to work on an Oracle Fusion Cloud system implementation.

This is a hybrid role with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.

This is a 10-month mandate.

Your Role:

The Procure to Pay (P2P) & Source to Contract (S2C) Functional Analyst will:

  • Provide expert advice and support to clients on P2P (e.g., Purchasing, Payables, Expenses, Self-Service Procurement) and S2C (e.g., Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Management) to ensure optimal usage and alignment with business processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Stay current with updates and new features related to P2P and S2C, and advise on their implementation to enhance system capabilities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration with third-party systems, fostering seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
  • Establish relationships and gain a deep understanding of the client's business and needs to identify, qualify, and unlock new opportunities.
  • Interface with business project leads, SMEs, and other T&I technical team members to successfully undertake project deliverables.

What you bring to our team

The successful incumbent will drive process improvements by:

  • Evaluating business requirements and writing future state designs with workflow charts and diagrams.
  • Analyzing required business process improvements and assists with required change management practices to facilitate the necessary business process changes to meet the future state designs.
  • Assisting with gap identification, gap prioritization and gap solution design efforts after business requirements gathering and initial systems configuration and systems walkthrough with key business members.
  • Writing all functional design documents that detail any customizations/extensions that deliver the functional solution to solve the business requirement.
  • Collaborating with technical resources to plan and develop system flows.
  • Helping programmers during system development, e.g. provide use cases, flowcharts, design specifications.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive test plans to ensure that systems and programs are tested and debugged.
  • Creating functional tests of systems configurations and extensions/customizations delivered from the IT development team.
  • Writes or helps write solution design and critical control measures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5 years as an IT Business Analyst supporting ERP or Accounting software.
  • 5 years’ experience working with Oracle P2P & S2C modules.
  • 3 years’ experience providing comprehensive support for P2P & S2C modules to ensure seamless integration and functionality across these areas.
  • Strong understanding of financial and management accounting concepts, principles, and practices. Ability to apply this knowledge to support decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and solutioning with Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Strong skills in requirements elicitation, modeling and developing functional use cases.
  • Experience with large, complex technology programs; ERP project implementation experience is an asset.
  • Proficient in Google Suite Tools.
  • Experienced in multi-system application integration.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, implementation, and testing methodologies for functional, system, integration, performance, and user acceptance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • English (Advanced), French is an Asset.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills who requires minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines and continuously implement changes.
  • Open to sharing knowledge and receptive to others' ideas.
