Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

A production company in Ramsey, MN is seeking Mechanical Assemblers to join their team. This company specializes in building and manufacturing workout and gym equipment, including ellipticals, weight racks, tension weight machines, and more. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to assemble, prep sub-assemblies, and move completed units. You will work with 32 different machines, ensuring each meets quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete assembly of various models of machines following established procedures.
• Move machines as required.
• Verify completed machines meet quality standards and initial paperwork.
• Use manual and electric pallet jacks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
• Ability to bend, twist, or turn repeatedly throughout the shift.
• 6 months of previous working experience required.
• Preferably 6 months of previous assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Capability to work with power tools or hand tools and mechanically inclined.
• Good work history, even if not in manufacturing.
• Ability to operate small air, hand, and electric tools.
• Ability to read work instructions and drawings.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Good memorization skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined.
• Experience with tools and labor work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
