As an Assembler, you will perform complex assembly of small precision parts using a variety of hand tools and devices, including wrenches, nut drivers, and air gauging. You will utilize test rigs to verify part performance, produce the first part making necessary quality adjustments, package finished products, and palletize. Additionally, you may perform quality control functions beyond visual inspection, checking parts using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, comparators, and other inspection equipment. Completing required work documents such as time sheets, productivity logs, move tags, and inspection sheets is also part of the role.
The company recently purchased a brand-new facility in Oakwood Village to handle distribution, and it is continuously growing and expanding its customer base. This growth creates abundant opportunities on the manufacturing side of the business. New equipment is being introduced and set up, providing an exciting and dynamic work environment.
The work environment is a clean, well-lit facility that is temperature-controlled in most areas. In areas that are not temperature-controlled, it is moderately warm in the summer and cool in the winters. The 1st shift hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime until 5:30 PM. There is an expectation of working 8 hours on Saturdays for the remainder of the year. The 2nd shift hours are from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $24.00/hr.
