Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prototype machine learning models and neural ODEs for complex biomedical datasets
- Optimize model performance and manage large-scale data pipelines
- Apply statistical methods (MLE, bootstrapping) and nonlinear optimization (e.g., CPLEX)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready ML systems
- Monitor model accuracy, data quality, and real-world deployment performance
- Document research processes and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
- Support innovation by exploring new ML techniques and experimentation frameworks
- Communicate project status clearly and drive outcomes independently
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning research and development
- Strong Python skills (Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch); experience with scientific computing
- Proven expertise in neural networks, ODEs, and neural ODEs
- Background in nonlinear optimization and statistical modeling
- Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field
- Self-driven, strong communicator, and comfortable with loosely defined tasks
- Bonus: Experience with JAX (equinox, diffrax), CRISP-ML(Q), or digital twins
