Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receiving and Shipping Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of inbound and outbound logistics. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate and timely receipt and shipment of materials and finished goods, with a strong focus on cross-border coordination between the United States and Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments, including raw materials and finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with customs and shipping documentation for cross-border transactions (U.S. ↔ Mexico).
• Communicate with carriers, customs brokers, and internal departments to schedule and track shipments.
• Verify and process receiving documentation, packing lists, and shipping labels.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP).
• Support warehouse operations by ensuring timely unloading, inspection, and storage of incoming goods.
• Prepare and validate shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, BOLs, and customs declarations.
• Ensure FIFO practices and proper material handling procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with purchasing, production, and customer service teams to resolve logistics issues.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics or supply chain certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics coordination.
• Familiarity with cross-border logistics and customs procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping and receiving documentation in English.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
