Job Description

Join Our Team as a Line Cook at the Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel & Conference Center

Are you a dependable and organized culinary professional ready to bring your skills to our amazing culinary team? We’re looking for a passionate Line Cook to help us create unforgettable dining experiences for every guest at the Normal Marriott.

What You’ll Do

• Keep kitchen areas stocked, organized, and sanitized
• Prepare and cook menu items with efficiency and attention to detail
• Ensure guest safety by following proper food handling procedures
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free environment—reporting any issues immediately
• Work collaboratively with your team to deliver top-notch service
• Take pride in every plate that leaves the kitchen

Qualifications

• Available to work 2:00pm-10:00pm
• Flexible to working weekends and holidays
• Previous culinary or food service experience preferred
• Must have or obtain a Food Safety Certificate within 60 days
• Physically able to:
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs occasionally and 15 lbs regularly
  • Bend, squat, and stand for the duration of the scheduled shift
