SLED Partner Account Manager

This position can be based remote in these states – Sunnyvale, CA or Denver, CO

You will center your role on relationship management to achieve measurable results in increased revenue, market share, and depth within each partner sales team within the West channel organization, focused on driving SLED revenue. Your success in this role will span the creation and execution of unique business plans across 10-15 identified SLED channel partners. You’ll be measured primarily on the joint business executed with each partner that results in partner pipeline & booking. You’ll be supporting the West SLED sales segment and working within all leadership of large partner organizations and possess a commitment that focuses on developing partnerships based on the long term, cyclical business including ERATE.

Your Impact

  • Working in tandem with the Territory PAM, manage a specific set of strategic SLED partners across the West Managed Partner organization.
  • Building effective Channel business plans that drive partner alignment, enablement and demand generation to grow our SLED Business, with a heavy emphasis on ERATE.
  • Develop and execute business plans driving all aspects of the partner relationship to maximize growth opportunities and ensuring the partner is well-positioned to deliver successful customer implementations and recommendations
  • Work well in a team environment to ensure partner and customer satisfaction
  • Design a compelling value proposition that inspires partners to promote our solutions in SLED
  • Create services based on our emerging and established technologies increasing revenue growth
  • Provide clear and consistent communication across the segment with your dedicated partners to build strong partnerships throughout your assignment
  • Lead regular business performance and relationship reviews with senior management and various executive stakeholders
  • Build and leverage appropriate performance reports and activity dashboards to monitor and drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years experience in channel management supporting SLED sales territories in the West region
  • Ability to execute on specific SLED initiatives and sales plays, partnering closely with your sales leaders, field and Partner Managers in region.
  • Experience in Global Systems Integrator Business Management, Service Providers, Cloud Providers, Channel Management, or Business Development roles within the enterprise ecosystem.
  • Understanding of channel and ecosystem operating models
  • Knowledge of sales, marketing, and solution development
  • Demonstrate strong initiative and ability to think creatively with excellent presentation, written, and overall communication skills
  • Consistent track record of leading complex sales situations through negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Team player with a reputation for driving partner initiated opportunities and measurable business outcomes against plan.
  • Ability to coach individuals to replicate success across regions.
