Bilingual Customer Service Representative

Location: San Antonio, TX, 78216

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Compensation: $17/hr (paid weekly)

Start Date: July 7th

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and professional Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers with past-due accounts—helping them understand their balances, offering payment solutions, and ensuring a positive experience even in challenging conversations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle 40–50 inbound and 90–120+ outbound calls daily using the Noble dialer system.
  • Provide clear, empathetic support to customers regarding billing questions.
  • Offer payment options, negotiate full payments, or set up payment arrangements.
  • Make one-time contact to inform customers of their balance.
  • Review accounts for discrepancies and initiate resolution requests.
  • Accurately document all interactions in CUBS CRM.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 1+ year of customer service experience (minimum 1 year per role).
  • Bilingual and fluent in Spanish.
  • Strong communication skills—professional and well-spoken over the phone.
  • Ability to handle upset customers with empathy and composure.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., restarting a computer, using browsers, Microsoft Office).
  • Basic math skills and the ability to multitask across systems.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of recent collections experience.
  • Familiarity with FDCPA, HIPAA, and state/local collection laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese.
  • Eligible for licensing in all states.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
