Job Summary:

Work safely and productively assisting machine operators in various tasks. For this position we are looking for a person to help operate a computerized machine. This person will be the helper to our current machine operator; however, the idea is for the helper to learn how to operate the machine as well. We need an employee with the following traits:

Must know how to operate Windows and Microsoft Suite.

Must be a proficient typist.

Must have experience operating a machine.

Must be a quick learner and proficient at using computers.

1. Problem Solving:
   1. Able to identify material that is out of specifications compared to in specification material (Bad & Good) and inform Lead of the specific non-compliant aspect
   2. Clearly explain possible problems with material and recommend corrective actions.
2. Teamwork:
   1. Demonstrate the ability to work well with others.
   2. Willing to follow instructions as required from whoever offers it as the situation warrants.
   3. Must understand total team concepts required to effectively and efficiently keep department as well as immediately assigned area running smoothly.
3. Communication:
   1. Able to communicate effectively with others in verbal or written form.
   2. Possess basic comprehension of both oral and written instruction.
   3. Understand that communication is a critical function to effective operation regardless of time of service or skill level.
   4. Can interpret production order special instructions
4. Training:
   1. Must be able to follow all safety procedures.
   2. Participate in operational skills training and demonstrate the ability to learn and apply new skills.
