Description

Offal Supervisor

???? Hatfield, PA

???? Start Time: 3 PM | 10–12 Hour Shifts

Why Join Clemens Food Group?

We’re not just producing pork—we’re building careers, growing leaders, and shaping a workplace where integrity, stewardship, and ethics come first. At Clemens, you’ll be supported by a company that invests in you: with relocation assistance, tuition reimbursement, structured development, and the “Clemens Way” culture that’s inclusive, purpose-driven, and people-focused.

The Impact You’ll Make

As our Offal Supervisor, you’ll own a critical part of our harvest operation—from head to red and white organs. You’ll ensure our offal products meet the highest standards of safety, yield, and quality. With a direct hand in shaping both product and people, your work will affect food safety, team performance, and operational excellence daily.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead a production team in offal operations, starting at 5:00 AM until harvest completion (10 hour shifts approximately)
  • Oversee product handling, boxing, and compliance with USDA, HACCP, and SSOP standards
  • Coach, train, and support team members to meet production goals and safety protocols
  • Identify improvement areas through audits, variance tracking, and CI tools
  • Manage daily staffing needs and execute production plans effectively
  • Work in a physical, wet, cold (42°F), and fast-paced environment

What Makes This Role Exciting?

  • You’ll gain exposure to all business areas—including upper leadership
  • You’ll have the autonomy to run the room, lead the team, and drive change
  • Every day brings new challenges and real, visible impact
  • Opportunity to grow into leadership or cross-functional roles

What We’re Looking For

We're seeking someone who has already led teams in a meat/protein environment—but we’re open to leadership talent from adjacent industries like food production, dairy, or manufacturing. Bilingual skills (Spanish or Creole) are a strong plus, but not required.

Skills & Mindset

Must-Have Skills:

  • 1+ year in a leadership role (e.g., supervisor, team lead)
  • Experience in protein or food production
  • Familiarity with HACCP, SSOP, and USDA standards
  • Proficiency in Excel and understanding of yields/variances
  • Strong communication and people management skills

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Bilingual (Spanish or Creole)
  • Experience in continuous improvement or lean environments
  • Prior work in physically demanding, cold environments

Mindset:

  • Self-motivated, driven, and accountable
  • Inclusive, adaptable, and culturally aware
  • Committed to doing the right thing—even when it’s hard

Your Future at Clemens

Within 3 months, you'll understand your team and KPIs. At 6 months, you'll independently run your production area. By 12 months, you'll be driving improvements and mentoring others. We’ll give you the tools, training, and exposure to make that journey real.
