This position will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals making a difference in the safety of Delawareans before, during, and after disasters.
This position supports DEMA’s database infrastructure & serves as the liaison between staff and vendors for our Software as a Service Systems. Duties include but are not limited to leading support for GIS data and applications (primarily ESRI products), our Oracle-based Grants Management System, & our MS SQL-based emergency operations software. They will be the subject matter expert for the agency in data and application management and support other IT systems as needed. Activities include database administration, technical implementation, operational support, backups, testing & validation, and integration with other applications & brokers.
