Assembler (2nd Shift)
Mon-Fri: 3:30pm-11:00pm EST
Pay: $16-$18
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts and components according to blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble parts.
- Connect cables, tubes, and wires as needed
- Conduct quality control checks to verify the integrity and performance of assembled components.
- Identify and report any defects or issues
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Prepare for assembly tasks by studying parts lists and gathering necessary tools, parts, and materials.
- Maintain logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
- Inventory tools, parts, and supplies.
- Resolve any identified problems and alert supervisor.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems.
