We are seeking a Licensed Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional service to clients by handling policy inquiries, processing changes, and assisting with claims and billing questions. This role requires an active insurance license and a strong knowledge of industry regulations and customer service best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person regarding insurance policies, coverage, billing, and claims.
  • Provide accurate and timely policy information and updates to clients.
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Assist with claim reporting and follow-ups as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and state/federal insurance regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Document customer interactions and maintain accurate client records in CRM or agency management systems.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell insurance products based on customer needs.
  • Collaborate with sales agents and underwriters to resolve customer issues.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Active state insurance license (Property & Casualty, Life & Health, or as required by role and state).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance terminology, processes, and regulatory requirements.
