Pay Range: $24.18 to $36.27

Shift: Afternoon/Evenings

Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

Kwik Trip, Inc. is currently seeking a Distribution Center Custodial Supervisor. Our 485,000 square foot Distribution Center plays a key role in our vertical integration efforts. The Distribution Center has a team of 550+ co-workers responsible for providing approximately 98 percent of the various products sold at our over 850 store locations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure excellent customer service standards are met
  • Supervise, train, and develop distribution center custodial co-workers
      • Ensure the team is staying on task and efficient providing coaching when applicable
  • Complete daily and weekly paperwork and SSOPs
  • Create work schedules
  • Review time records
  • Write performance appraisals
  • Follow and enforce all company policies
  • Maintain distribution center conditions (cleanliness, safety, security, inventory)
  • Driving Continuous Improvement throughout the entire Distribution Center.
      • Conduct A3 problem solving
      • Lead Daily Improvement Meetings
      • Developing Digital Standardized Work
      • Job Instruction planning and confirmation
  • Help cover vacations and audit job tasks

Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to lead by example
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Strong desire to succeed while being part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Provide co-workers with timely and professional job performance feedback
  • Experience operating distribution center equipment is desirable

Physical qualifications: walk up to 12 hours; occasionally lift/pull/carry up to 50 lbs; ability to work in various temperatures.

Work Schedule: Need someone with flexibility in work schedule. Set schedule to be determined, 5 shifts per week during 2nd shift hours.
