Job Summary
As an App Security Architect you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our applications by designing and implementing robust security measures. With a focus on AWS Macie you will ensure data protection and compliance in a hybrid work model. Your expertise will contribute to the companys mission of providing secure and reliable solutions impacting both our clients and society positively.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive application security strategies to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
Utilize AWS Macie to monitor and protect data stored in the cloud ensuring adherence to data privacy regulations.
Provide guidance and support to development teams on secure coding practices and threat modeling.
Oversee the implementation of security controls and technologies to mitigate risks and enhance application security.
Lead incident response efforts to quickly address and resolve security breaches or incidents.
Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve the security posture of applications.
Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation on security findings recommendations and implemented solutions.
Support the development of security policies standards and procedures to ensure consistent security practices.
Contribute to the companys purpose by ensuring the security and integrity of applications thereby enhancing customer trust and satisfaction.
Qualifications
Possess a strong background in application security with a focus on AWS Macie.
Demonstrate expertise in designing and implementing security architectures for cloud-based applications.
Have experience in conducting security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Show proficiency in secure coding practices and threat modeling techniques.
Exhibit knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
Display excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field.
Certifications Required
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) AWS Certified Security Specialty
