Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced Senior Angular Developer to lead the development of scalable, complex front-end applications. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in Angular (version 2+), JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern UI technologies. As a senior technical leader within the team, you will drive the architecture, design, and implementation of user interfaces, ensuring high standards of performance, usability, and maintainability. Your leadership will enable the delivery of innovative front-end solutions aligned with our digital transformation goals and business objectives.
This role is critical in shaping responsive, high-performance user experiences while mentoring junior team members and ensuring best practices across projects.
Software Requirements
Required:
- Angular (version 10 and above)
- JavaScript, TypeScript (latest standards)
- CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS for styling
- REST API and GraphQL for data integration
- Angular Material and AG-Grid for UI components
- State management libraries such as NgRx
- Git and Bitbucket for version control
- Code quality tools like ESLint, SonarQube
Preferred:
- Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture
- Experience with Webpack or other bundlers
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins)
Overall Responsibilities
- Lead the development and integration of complex Angular-based user interfaces
- Design scalable front-end architecture and component libraries
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend teams to deliver seamless applications
- Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and responsiveness of all UI components
- Guide the team on best practices in Angular development, including state management, testing, and debugging
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in Angular and front-end technologies to continuously improve project standards
- Contribute to defining technical strategies and ensuring adherence to architectural standards

Experience Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in front-end development with a focus on UI development
- At least 4+ years of hands-on experience with Angular (latest versions) in building and leading complex applications
- Proven experience designing and implementing scalable front-end architectures
- Extensive experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, UI/UX, and product managers
- Experience mentoring teams and leading technical projects
- Industry experience in finance, retail, or enterprise applications preferred, but not mandatory
Day-to-Day Activities
- Lead the development of high-quality Angular components and screens
- Review and optimize existing code for performance and scalability
- Collaborate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups
- Conduct peer code reviews and facilitate knowledge sharing sessions
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and demonstrate solutions
- Debug complex UI issues and implement solutions efficiently
- Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
- Stay informed of new tools, libraries, and industry best practices to incorporate into projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; higher education or equivalent experience acceptable
- Certifications in Angular, JavaScript, or front-end development preferred
- Continuous learning in modern front-end development practices and frameworks
