You will work with global teams to develop products impacting millions of users worldwide, while supporting our platform teams in enhancing engineering processes. Here’s a closer look at each team: - **Mobility:** The Mobility team is dedicated to reimagining transportation solutions for a dynamic world. You will work on projects that enhance ride-sharing, navigation, and real-time route optimization. This team is at the forefront of creating innovative solutions that not only improve mobility but also transform the way people and goods move in cities around the globe. - **Delivery:** The Delivery team is focused on innovating and streamlining how products and services reach our customers. In this role, you'll contribute to building efficient and robust systems that support order processing, logistics, and real-time tracking. Your contributions will help optimize the end-to-end delivery experience, making it more reliable and seamless for both drivers and customers. - **Core Services:** The Core Services team develops and manages everything that powers all Uber apps. Operating across 70+ countries and processing millions of transactions per second, the team works to meet the evolving needs of Uber's current and future business. As a critical part of the customer journey, we build engaging products by solving deep technical challenges, in problem domains that are specific to Uber’s business. ## Minimum qualifications: - PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field **OR** 6-years full-time Software Engineering work experience, **WHICH INCLUDES** 5-years total technical software engineering experience in one or more of the following areas: - Note the 6-years total of specialized software engineering experience may have been gained through education and full-time work experience, additional training, coursework, research, or similar (OR some combination of these).
