The Systems Administrator Level 2 will be responsible for performing the daily

operational tasks that are necessary to provide a stable and robust systems infrastructure for the

Firm. This includes but is not limited to; system monitoring, proactive maintenance, problem

resolution, implementation, and creating/updating operational documentation as needed.

The Systems Administrator Level 2 will work as part of the Technical Operations team in

implementing, monitoring, and supporting the core infrastructure of the Firm’s IT Systems.

  • Contribute to the operational aspects of the Technical Operations group as needed. Thisincludes, but is not limited to ticket management, user account provisioning, permission management, general system troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth, up-to-date technical knowledge of the applications and protocols used in the firm's information systems.
  • Participate in firm-wide IT projects, system designs, procurement, and outsourcing services to implement and support core IT services.
  • Administration and monitoring of core technologies such as, LAN/WAN Enterprise Networks, Storage Resource Management, Enterprise Unified Communication Systems, Virtualization systems, Exchange Messaging Systems, Disaster Recovery Operations, and Backup Operations.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts and recommend technologies that will increase performance, cost-effectiveness, and infrastructure flexibility.
  • Engage in proactive and preventative maintenance, system validation, and system security patching to ensure system stability and security.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate performance, security, scalability, and recoverability. Report on findings and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide second level support to the Firm’s legal and administration departments.
  • Provide after-hours and on-call support for all systems as needed.
  • Hybrid work schedule required.

3-5 years of hands-on experience in a Window server environment consisting of;

monitoring, supporting and troubleshooting; Familiarity with Azure Cloud Services

preferred.

Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in complex IT environments.

Experience with planning, implementation, and documentation of tasks/projects in

assigned areas.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree required.

Applicable certifications preferred.
