About the Inaugural Position

The Program Manager plays a key role in shaping and managing Stanford Law Executive Education’s growing portfolio of initiatives. This position oversees the end-to-end delivery of online, in-person, and custom programs—coordinating logistics, managing systems and vendors, and supporting faculty and participants to ensure a world-class experience. The Program Manager will also help drive continuous improvement, contribute to strategic planning, and support operational execution across the unit. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building systems, managing complex projects, and delivering exceptional service.

CORE DUTIES:

  • Execute program plan definitions and detailed rollout schedules, including collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee planning, vendor and instructor engagement, enrollment and participant experience for online, in-person, and custom programs.
  • Work with the entire Executive Education team to develop new programming.
  • Collaborate with the program group team to develop and execute a marketing plan, assessing and revising as necessary to meet goals.
  • Partner with centers and other departments to develop and market programs connected to area of focus.
  • Attract top-tier program participants.
  • Develop relationships with participants in the form of cold emails, at conferences and at events.
  • Develop and maintain website content for the department our programs.
  • Develop original content to tell Exec Ed’s story online.
  • Implement conversion strategy to meet product/program goals.
  • Build out program and project planning strategy to ensure timelines are executed efficiently.
  • Deliver an experience that leads to high customer satisfaction and advocacy for the program.
  • Manage the Learning Management System for online programs.
  • Create onboarding resources and best practices guides for speakers and facilitators.
  • Conduct analysis and make recommendations regarding the direction of the programs.
  • Monitor feedback (emails, meetings, program surveys)across offerings and propose changes to improve structure, delivery models, and enrollment processes.
  • Track trends in legal education and industry demands to support the creation of new course offerings or refine existing ones.
  • Actively participates in efforts to improve processes, programs and business across the department.
  • Attend key industry conventions and conferences.
  • Coordinate with vendors and consultants on specific programs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with managing products/programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of various marketing elements (e.g. pricing, audience, channels, communication).
  • Ability to work independently to meet expected deadlines and schedules.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the target audience lifecycle and ability to convert leads into new business.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

The expected pay range for this position is $101,431 to $119,725 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
