INSIDE RETAIL SR SALES ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE

SUMMARY: We are looking for a Sr. Sales Account Representative for our National Accounts Inside Pork Retail Sales Team located in Greeley, CO who is responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with retail customers and overseeing sales, ultimately driving revenue growth through recognized sales methods.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Manage JBS Pork’s current and future retail accounts
• Use product and market knowledge to generate sales
• Determine customer needs and match new product and programs to address account goals
• Provide pricing quotes and modify prices accommodating specific customer needs
• Collaborate with field sales team to develop new accounts and move accounts up on value chain
• Work with margin management to increase sales margin
• Contact accounts daily to discuss the availability and pricing of individual products
• Responsible for following market conditions and recognizing market trends
• Thorough understanding of customer organizational structure and merchandising strategy
• Understanding of all accounts in department to make team stronger
• Responsible for understanding accounts in depth including payment terms, credit, claims, service, and other internal departments
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS/BA Degree in Agri Business, Meat Science, Marketing, Economics, Ag Econ, Animal Science or Agriculture related field preferred
• Experience in meat sales required
• Prior premium pork sales experience highly desired
• JBS knowledge and experience highly desired
• Well-organized and detail oriented
• Superb phone and strong presentational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be team oriented with a desire to work in corporate office environment
• Must be willing to travel
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week
• Must be technologically savvy, MS Office Suite applications a must
• Web Ex, MS Teams, and virtual/remote platform systems a must
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
• Base salary range of $95,000 – $115,000;
• Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
