Amazon is looking for a customer focused, self-driven, and analytical leader to join the Books organization. We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager who can own complex problems within Supply Chain team. In this role, the candidate will work with cross-functional teams to identify and launch initiatives aimed at improving the customer and vendor experience.

Supply Chain Managerは、Enhanced Instock Service（EIS）やStrategic Vendor Service（SVS）プログラムなどの、サプライチェーンチーム内で運営される有料サービスプログラムの管理を担当します。この役職では特に、ベンダーのサプライチェーンに特化したコンサルティングサービスであるEISを担当し、1) EISプログラム自体の管理・改善、 2) EISプログラムの拡大メカニズムの策定・推進、3) EISプログラムに参加している出版社に対するインストック管理プロセスの運営とパフォーマンス管理 等を通じてAmazonの在庫・物流戦略に貢献します。また、状況に応じてSVSなど他の有料サービスプログラムにも貢献することがあります。

この役職の最終目標は、ベンダーのサプライチェーンパフォーマンスを向上させるためのソリューションを維持・改善・発展させながら、模範的かつ拡張性のあるプロセスを構築することです。これにより、最小限の運転資本で顧客ニーズを満たすための十分な在庫をアマゾンが確保できるようにします。

Key responsibilities

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing paid service programs operated within the supply chain team, such as Enhanced Instock Service (EIS) and Strategic Vendor Service (SVS). This role will primarily focus on EIS, a vendor supply chain consulting service, contributing to Amazon's inventory and logistics strategy through: 1) EIS program management and improvement, 2) development and implementation of EIS program expansion mechanisms, and 3) operation of instock management processes and performance management for publishers participating in the EIS program. This role may also contribute to other paid service programs such as SVS as needed.

The ultimate goal of this position is to maintain, improve, and modify solutions that enhance vendor supply chain performance, while creating exemplary scalable processes to ensure Amazon has sufficient inventory to meet customer needs with minimal working capital impact.

• プログラムの改善計画の立案・文書化・承認取得・実行
• プログラム拡大・推進のための計画立案・進捗管理
• プログラムのパフォーマンス評価
• Vendorのプログラム参加に向けた準備（分析・提案）、交渉支援、及び参加決定時の立ち上げ
• 文面及び口頭によるVendorコミュニケーション
• Supply chain team内におけるコミュニケーションと情報収集
• その他サプライチェーン及び有償サービスに関連する事項
• Attending/Managing regular/ad-hoc meetings (with Supply chain team, paid service team, and other related teams)
• Conducting written and verbal communication regarding progress with key stakeholders such as Vendor Managers (VM, sales representatives) and Senior Leadership
• Developing, documenting, obtaining approval for, and implementing program improvement plans
• Creating and monitoring progress for program expansion and advancement initiatives
• Evaluating program performance through various metrics
• Preparing for vendor program participation (analysis and proposals), supporting negotiations, and implementing onboarding processes upon participation decision
• Maintaining written and verbal communication channels with vendors
• Facilitating communication and information gathering within the Supply chain team
• Handling other matters related to supply chain and paid services

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 工学、ビジネス、または関連分野における学士号
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field
• 5年以上の社会人経験
• 5+ working experience
• 3年以上の関連職務の経験（プログラムまたはプロジェクト管理、様々な部署との協業プロジェクト、プロセス改善）
• 3+ years of relevant experience (program or project management, working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams, defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience)
• データや指標を使用して改善点を判断した経験
• Experience using data and metrics to determine improvements
• KPIなどのメトリック作成・改善の経験、および、生データからインサイトを抽出する分析力
• Experience with reporting technologies and analytics. Capable of turning raw data into information and insights.
• 日本語が母国語、もしくは、JPLTN1
• Native Japanese or JPLT N1
• 日常レベルの英語
• Daily use level English required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 優れた意思決定力、書面および口頭でのコミュニケーション力、実践的で常識的なアプローチに基づく実行力
• Possess excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done.
• 優れた分析能力と問題解決能力。 大規模で複雑なデータを処理する能力と、統計学またはその他の分析手法に精通している
• Strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills. Ability to work with large, complex data sets and familiarity with statistics or other analytical techniques.
• 優先順位付け、スケジュール管理、時間管理、期限の遵守などの優れた実行力
• Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management and meeting deadlines.
• カイゼン、リーン生産方式、シックスシグマなどのプロセス改善の経験
• Experience with improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• ビジネスレベルの英語
• Business level English
