Program Manager, RBS : Cost to Serve

Amazon

DESCRIPTION

Join Amazon’s Cost to Serve team to support and scale the High-Risk Value (HRV) Inevntory Charter: an enterprise-wide initiative focused on reducing inventory shrink, improving root cause attribution and strengthening inventory control across global fulfillment networks. As a Program Manager, you will lead sub-initiatives within the HRV Charter across the U.S., EU, Canada, and MENA, working at the intersection of operations, tech and finance. This role is for candidates who thrive in execution-heavy environments and are eager to shape strategy, drive deep dives and build scalable mechanisms that unlock long-term cost-to-serve improvements.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead execution and program ownership for sub-initiatives under the HRV Charter, including shrink root cause deep dives, transshipment, serial scan gaps and other inventory control mechanisms.
  • Partner across Tech, Ops, Finance and Security to build and scale solutions that improve shrink attribution accuracy, enhance process visibility and reduce HRV inventory losses.
  • Support RCA development and solutioning by identifying systemic gaps, structuring insights into documents, and ensuring stakeholder alignment across functions and geographies.
  • Write and maintain program documents including SOPs, RCA summaries, CPR inputs and Monthly/Quarterly Business Review narratives, tailoring content for varied stakeholder audiences.
  • Execute global program components across North America, EU and MENA, tailoring mechanisms to network maturity and supporting scale-readiness through documentation and playbooks.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to influence strategy, track milestones, and provide input into roadmap prioritization and investment planning.
  • Operate in a high-ambiguity environment with a bias for action, analytical thinking and stakeholder collaboration to unlock measurable cost-to-serve savings.
