We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer with proven experience in architecting, designing, and developing end-to-end agentic AI solutions to address complex and ambiguous technical challenges with high business impact. Hands-on experience in building scalable and extensible web services, leveraging appropriate AWS/cloud technologies, and implementing suitable LLM-based agentic frameworks is strongly preferred.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer for ELB Customer Success team, you'll have a unique opportunity to shape the development of our tooling for both large-scale distributed canary systems and troubleshooting solutions, including building LLM and GenAI -powered automation. You’ll work on Amazon’s hardest problems, building high quality, architecturally sound systems that are aligned with our business needs. You will design and implement software systems supporting highly scalable and robust workload. You’ll strive for simplicity, demonstrate significant creativity and high judgment, and contribute towards intellectual property through patents.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
